'Geisha' (2013)

This module was based on the autobiography 'Geisha of Gion' by Mineko Iwasaki. It told the story of Japan's foremost Geisha and what life was like. This inspired this series of work which consists of embroidered pieces of art, the making of a full Geisha outfit, and photographs of the Kimono being worn.
